Notes This relief joins with a relief in the University of Pennsylvania Museum in Philadelphia (inv. no. MS 4916A), also found in Pozzuoli. Together the two blocks form the corner of a larger monument. They are often thought to have been part of an arch honoring Trajan and marking one end of the road between Neapolis (modern Naples) and Puteoli.
