Hawkman is the alias of several of fictional characters and superheroes, all property of DC Comics. Created by Gardner Fox and Dennis Neville, Hawkman is notable for his distinctive costume of a winged harness and a stylized hawk's head helmet, which strongly deviates from contemporary character designs. He is often partnered with Hawkgirl, although this is not constant.
