Accord with other major policies
Image use on Wikiquote must accord with other major policies on this project, including:
Images available at Wikimedia Commons
- All editors can utilize Wikimedia Commons resources, which contains over 10,000,000 multimedia files, and also are encouraged to upload their favorite images or media files under free license(s) compatible with the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License, or in the public domain.
- Uploads are disabled on Wikiquote, and so new images cannot be uploaded. This is a machine-enforced "no new images" policy.
Image use
- The goal of images added should be to assist in conveying quotes.
