John Karl Fetterman (born August 15, 1969) is an American politician serving as United States senator from Pennsylvania since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as the 34th Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania from 2019 to 2023, as well as the Mayor of Braddock from 2005 to 2019. Fetterman was a candidate in the United States Senate election in Pennsylvania for 2016 and was elected when he ran again in 2022.
