Aadam basti andar chu sir:

 In kashmiri language:  اٌدم بَستِ اندر چُه سر

Translation: "beneath human skin is a secret<>".

Aaabi tell shreyakh:

 In kashmiri language: اٰبِ تیل شراک

Translation: "Dagger beneath water<hidden danger>".

Alan hind khairat wanginan sag

In kashmiri language: ألن هئندِ خئرات وانگئنن سئگ

Translation: "In Pumpkins company brinjals get watered<>".

Anne poeshye tellye yellye wanne poeshye

In kashmiri language:  أن پوشِ تیلِ یل ؤن پوشِِ

Translation: "Food will last while the forests last".

Anyem soye, Wawem soye, Lajem soye paanesye!.

In kashmiri language: أنِم سؤے ؤؤم سؤے لءجِم سؤے پانسئ

Translation: I got the nettle sapling, I cultivated nettle, its me the nettle stung! <One who digs a ditch for another himself falls into it?>".

Allye ruvun waangun

In kashmiri language: الءے رُؤن وانگن

Translation: "A gourd for an aubergine. <not quite the same thing>"

Azmowmut gow pathar povmut

In kashmiri language: اٰزمومُت گو پتهر پومُت

Translation: "One tested is won over. <>"

Akh vukur ti beyi trakur

In kashmiri language: آخ گو وَکَر تِ ب گو تراکَر

Translation: "Stiff as well as bad. <>"

Babban maer gaav te asye maa wonne kaensyee

In kashmiri language: ببن مءر گاو تء أسِع مع ؤن كنسٍ

Translation: "Hey listen, dad slaughtered a cow and we are not telling anyone! <context: slaughtering cows was a serious crime under Dogra occupation of Kashmir>".

Balaaye aaye wakhtas; kokkerye khatche takhtas

In Kashmiri Language: بلائ آئ وقتس کوکرِ کهژء تختس

Translation: "Bad times came to be; hens on thrones we were to see!". <incompetent leadership>

Barre wotteye te daaryan taerye

In Kashmiri Language: بر ؤتھِ تء دارین تءءر

Translation: "Bolted windows with the door ajar!".

Boennye taarun muhul

  In kashmiri language:   پون تارن مُحُل

Translation: "Forcing a bludgeon through a chinar (tree) trunk. <Doing the impossible.>".

Bujji lob kuji tal

  In kashmiri language:

Translation: "Old woman found(chanced upon something) under a tree. <Serendipity>".

Byekel ne kanh, te garre patte dah!

     In kashmiri language:  بیکِل نٍ کنه  , گرِ پتِ ده

Translation: "Its tough to find fools; theres only ten in every other house!".

Babě nyether yemi dummě

In Kashmiri Language: ببء نیتھر یمئ دمء

Translation: " Father, I need to get married right at this moment. <Instant gratification.>"

Translation: "Will washing add grime or remove some? <do the right thing>".

Translation: "Cant help that I have sumthing? <>".
