Marc Connelly

Marcus Cook Connelly (1890-12-131980-12-21) was an American playwright who received the 1931 Pulitzer Prize for his drama Green Pastures. He was also a member of the Algonquin Round Table.


  • While I have not contributed to my chosen profession anything as lasting as the accomplishments of the medieval sculptors upon the cathedral's face, I have on occasion placed some flowers on its altar from my garden.
