- I also prefer to use the yaec tool to which you link, rather than the one on the stable.toolserver. However, I am reluctant to put it in the MediaWiki footer because I am not aware of the reasons, if any, why it is not considered "stable." ~ Ningauble 18:30, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- It is used many projects. I see no problem with this being added - though I'm not sure of the difference between the servers. Either way, a deadlink is useless. Pmlineditor ∞ 18:37, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oh! I did not notice that the "stable" edit counter had been taken off line indefinitely. (I never use it.) I will make the switch to yaec. ~ Ningauble 19:02, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
