Meyer Lansky

Meyer Lansky (July 4, 1902January 15, 1983), born Majer Suchowliński, was an American gangster who, with Charles "Lucky" Luciano, was instrumental in the development of the so-called National Crime Syndicate in the United States. He was the intellectual impetus behind the Commission and the so-called "Mogul of the Mob."
