Number the Stars
Number the Stars (1990) is a novel by Lois Lowry. It tells the story of a 10 year old girl living in Nazi-occupied Denmark in 1943 who must go on a dangerous mission to save her best friend, who is Jewish. It's title presumably alludes to Psalms 147:4.
