Film and book mix up[edit]
A few of these quotes, such as the "humanitarian" speech, seem to be taken from the book and not the movie. If anyone could help that would be great. In paticular I will check out the accuracy of that particular speech in the movie ASAP. Sveden 16:45, 8 August 2005 (UTC)

Patrick Bateman mistakenly quoted Ed Gein as having said, "One side of me says, 'I'd like to talk to her and date her.' The other side says, 'I wonder what her head would look like on a stick?'" I doubt the phrase "Check 'em" is in fact uttered in the film. A joke?
