In order to distinguish between Italian and English, I italicized the Italian phrases and put the English in parentheses in normal font. If you have other ideas to improve this page, please share them. 67.177.162.146 01:23, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nietzsche is the source of the "nothing is true" quote.[edit]

"Nothing is true, everything is permitted" is a line that Nietzsche claims in Genealogy of Morals is the motto of the assassin's order.

To wit: Section 24 of the Third Essay: "When the Christian crusaders in the Orient came across that unconquered Order of Assassins, that free-spirited order par excellence, whose lowest ranks lived a life of obedience of the sort no order of monks attained, then they received by some means or other a hint about that symbol and motto, which only the highest ranks kept as their secret, "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted." .

" 92.78.143.24 15:45, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong explicit editing.[edit]

In the "Go f*** yourself" Italian quotes, "fottere" is the naughty word, but the word before it is edited.
