Talk:Bulgarian proverbs
Without being an expert of English, I wouldn't translate "Kravta voda ne stava" as "Blood doesn't become water". The proverb "Blood is thicker than water" is exactly what they use and it is used in exactly the same situations as "Kravta voda ne stava". If you say "Blood doesn't become water" to someone he will be looking at you kinda strange. So don't try to apply Bulgarian high school English here please.
