Quotes from this game franchise have been spread across several other pages in addition to this one:

No problem; it has been done before with Ace Combat and Metal Gear. And why is there special pages for Price and Soap? Shades of Jackerson and his insistence in putting in a Starscream page. Let us add more[edit]

Okay, I have read them now. But why delete the one that keeps getting deleted? That one is much more in line than the really long one about airspace communication - and I find it more interesting. Well, your thread-starter line only confirmed that you are whining. Why are you complaining about what you call a "stingy" policy that was implemented two years ago? If you only read about the LOQ policy weeks ago when I noted it in my edit summaries instead of undoing the edit, then you wouldn't have come here and rat off. Look, I don't know who sent Colonel Eaglestorm in here to lay down the law, but Wikiquote's policy on video games is extremely stingy. There are entire movies with virtually no notable dialogue at all, but apparently a game with a great deal of interesting dialogue must be forever condemned to three quotes. And for the record, I didn't see any "whining". I saw one guy making a reasonable request and you bullying him.

The policy should change, that's my point. "Colonel" was a title given to you with massive sarcasm quotes, understand. And yes, I think I will. Talking with some guy who thinks he's a bigger deal than a full-bird Colonel just because he's a bloody Wikipedia editor is unlikely to yield meaningful results. And by the way, the first guy may be sorry, but I ain't. You owe that guy an apology. I'm not saying I as a person am better than you are, but I don't go slashing into people for being "whiners" at complete random. "goddamn white knight"... your words, mister. Not mine.

Page Name[edit]

I don't have an account for Wikiquote, but I have one for Wikipedia, which is Alec92 if you need to respond to this.

The name of the page *should* be Call Of Duty: World At War, I don't care if you think it's the 5th COD game, if they don't call it Call of Duty 5 it's not Call of Duty 5, just like Modern Warfare 2 isn't Call of Duty 6, or GTA IV isn't GTA 12 or something. 97.116.56.54 15:17, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
