Long quotes[edit]

I realize these quotes, especially the third one, are really more "excerpts" than they are "quotes", and I don't know if because of their length they in some way violate Wikiquote policy -- but if they do, I'd appreciate it if instead of just deleting the quotes, I be given the chance to break them down into shorter and more acceptable lengths. I think this dialogue is just extraordinary (especially the third one) and has great value. I'd hate to lose it entirely if some of it could be preserved and still stay within policy guidelines. Categories needed[edit]

I'm sorry to say I don't have a clue about what the proper Wikiquote categories are for this material. Everything I tried which seemed likely didn't work -- so can someone please categorize it? Ed Fitzgerald 04:34, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I figured out two categories anyway. Ed Fitzgerald 05:08, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced[edit]

  • The descent from radio to television is certainly not as great as from bridge to canasta.
  • You got to look on the bright side, even if there ain't one.
