Someone should get a proper source for the "[Obama's] sort of God" quote, as it will become big time ammo for the Right against the media.

Evan Thomas is a major source of discomfiture for the hard left.[edit]

Here is another stupid Evan Thomas quote, not currently in shape for an edit of the Wikiquote page. Note the contrast between this "journalist"'s treatment of Republican George W. Bush and Democrat (and darling of socialists) Barack Hussein Obama.

"Well, our job is to bash the president, that's what we do." -- Evan Thomas responding to a question on whether the media's unfair to Bush on the TV talk show Inside Washington, February 2, 2007.

Evan Thomas is a complete fool, and would be a serious detriment to Newsweek's reputation, if they had any, for journalistic integrity and professionalism. Even Jon Stewart probably couldn't stomach this Obama sycophant as a writer, collaborator, or editor.

I am frankly amazed at the narrow view expressed in an earlier discussion entry, that Evan Thomas' "sort of god" quote would be seen first as "ammunition" for the right wing. Liberal paranoia proceeds from complete absence of thought or logic.

One can often only laugh or cry at the somewhat trite examples presented of the astute ability of extremists of both right and left to grasp firmly their own prejudices and presumptions as if they were indisputable, incontestable and self-evident to anyone who has the obviously infinite good sense to agree with them completely. I choose to laugh. So it goes... ~ NoMan 15:51, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I added this quote and a quote he used in his defense which I thought is interesting.[1] Mhym 07:03, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
