I remember the quote "The strength of a civilization is not measured by its ability to fight wars, but rather by its ability to prevent them" being shown at the end of an episode of Earth: Final conflict, which was one of Roddenberry's shows. The episode 'Scorched Earth' ends by showing this on the screen: "The strength of a civilization is not measured by its ability to fight wars, but rather by its ability to prevent them —Gene Roddenberry" So there is a ligitimate source for that quote.... also see: here, from space.com (it describes the episode and shows the quote70.109.238.179 05:47, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
