He never actually said the youth quote. I am removing it. C.f. http://www.englishforums.com/English/HelpSourceQuotation/wjnqm/post.htm for reference to this. The original debunking is apparently gone. The quote should only be restored if someone can actually state where in the works of Hesiod it exists.

I have placed the statement in a section for Misattributed quotes — which prominently displays it as misattributed, and helps to prevent future confusions. There are also sections on pages for "Disputed" quotes, but I believe that there is little dispute that this is not a genuine quote of Hesiod. ~ Kalki (talk · contributions) 22:33, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
