Questionable quote[edit]

I do not feel comfortable about including this quote in the "comments about" Rahm section: "Rahm Emanuel is son of the devil's spawn. He is an individual who would sell his mother to get a vote. He would strap his children to the front end of a steam locomotive." This sort of flippant remark could be applicable to most American politicians, and especially those sorts of ones who seem most often to get elected to public office. ~ Unknown (talk) 11.37, 30 Oct. 2014 (UTC)

Unsourced misattribution[edit]

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. … This crisis provides the opportunity for us to do things that you could not before. This quite has erroneously been credited to Mr. Emmanuel .......it was originated by Sir Winston Churchill and copied in both medical and political examples since his first usage.

There's no source for this quote being "originated by Sir Winston Churchill", and it's denied by The CHURCHILL CENTRE. There are a few misattributions in random places online, but none of them are a reliable source, and don't say when or where he supposedly said this.

https://www.quora.com/When-where-and-why-did-Winston-Churchill-say-%E2%80%9CNever-let-a-good-crisis-go-to-waste-%E2%80%9D

It also claims it's erroneously credited to Rahm Emanuel, when he did say that almost word for word, and it's already sourced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mzcbXi1Tkk

Also it says "quite" instead of "quote". It's like a child went in and changed the entry.

I think the quote should be corrected, and correctly attributed to Rahm Emanuel.

Maybe something like this: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. … This crisis provides the opportunity for us, as I would say, the opportunity to do things that you could not do before."
