Talk:Scanian proverbs

Scania is Swedish, and use ö instead of ø. ø is used in Danmark. Scania used to be Danish, but then the proverbs are really old. I mean really old. And some words are just danish. Möllevingen is called Möllan in Scanish.

- I noticed that the Danish ø is used for all quotes, but at the same time the Swedish ä is used instead of the Danish æ, and sometimes ø (Danish) and ä (Swedish) is used within the same quote. Unless this is related to some old Scanian way of writing the Swedish ö should be used, or at least people adding quotes should decide whether to use Swedish or Danish letters. /Jiiimbooh 81.234.189.5 20:16, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. I could imagine Scania being close to Sweden but belonging to Denmark that this way of writting became standard in Scania and surviving for some time after Scania became Swedish, but someone who knows more about this should comment on this if that's the case.
