The quote about Stone Age is widely attributed originally the Saudi oil minister Sheikh Yamani (1973) in connection with running out of oil. Maybe this should be reflected in this article. --94.197.111.178 01:53, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The quote about Stone Age appears in The Economist, attributed to Sheikh Yamani in The end of the Oil Age, and precedes McDonough's reference by 2 years (2003 vs. 2005). Maybe this should be reflected in this article.
The full quote in the Economist is “The Stone Age did not end for lack of stone, and the Oil Age will end long before the world runs out of oil.” I fully agree it should be mentioned - Action - Done!--Deselliers (talk) 09:18, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
