Should the messages in the properties of the images be added (every xkcd comic has one)?

The first three that are quoted here:

Bonus points if you can identify the science in question

The alt-text should only be quoted if it constitutes a good quote. Some do. Many don't. You can see that I have added them where they work. --Webmaren 21:51, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

I think this page should be deleted, actually, but as I'm nowhere near as involved in Wikiquote as I am in Wikipedia, I'll hold off from starting a VfD. -- Soap 21:37, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
