With full credit to Eloquence for living up to his handle and formulating a Rationalist canon so succinctly.
Declaration of bias:
- I am opposed to irrationalism, be it in the form of organized religion, miracle healers or postmodernism.
- I am in favor of personal liberties.
- I am in favor of democracy and capitalism.
- I am in favor of a working social system.
- I am not a pacifist.
I am a Rationalist by choice, an atheist by default. I agree with Asimov when he said: "The question of God and other objects-of-faith are outside reason and play no part in rationalism, thus you don't have to waste your time in either attacking or defending."
