Please stop removing sourced content from Wikiquote. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox.
Wikiquote exists for the collecting of notable quotations of famous people and famous works. For a quick overview of what Wikiquote is, read Wikiquote:Wikiquote, and also What Wikiquote is not for a list of common activities that Wikiquote does not support.
When people are not interested in responsibly contributing to the development of the project incidents of their deliberate vandalism can result in IP addresses or usernames being blocked from editing.

Block notice[edit]

I have blocked this IP for 3 days because the editor using it seems more intent on disrupting Wikiquote than improving the articles. Any perceived failures in articles (and there are many) should be fixed, not simply blotted out by page replacement. And SHOUTING WITH ALL CAPS ON MUTIPLE PAGES, commonly used by vandals, rather than getting the community to address concerns, is likely to be ignored at best and to earn a block for disruption at worst.

Please review Wikiquote:Civility. When the block is over, please consider calm, rational arguments with specific suggestions for improvement of specific articles rather than impossibly general accusations of bias. Thank you for your cooperation. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 21:03, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
