Kai Ryssdal[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Kai Ryssdal, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy).

You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~ Kalki·· 19:39, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You are probably unfamiliar with our policies here, but removing a prod without addressing the concerns in it can result in an article undergoing the process where it is deleted by votes. I will restore the prod notice, because I am aware you might not have been aware of that — but it would be MUCH easier to find properly SOURCED and cited material for this, and THEN remove the prod than it would be to have this cast into the Votes for deletion process. ~ Kalki·· 20:53, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The notice has been restored — this gives one at least a WEEK to correct the problem.  I would suggest finding some published writings or online new source where Kai is quoted — I might do this myself in a few days if no one else does, but honestly the guy doesn't seem all that interesting to me, and I would prefer not to.
