This pointless editing will end or there will be a block on both disputants.
I just recently returned to my computet after having been gone for several hours, but will likely be leaving again soon for much of the day.
At this point I do not know if this user name was chosen in innocence or as an infantile selection of a troll. I do not even know that there are actually two disputants in the rather pointless time-wasting session that seems to have been going on for over an hour. I will request an IP check on user Johney, but until its results are known, I would advise anyone involved in this petty dispute to be quiet for a while and actually do something worthwhile with their time and their life. If such pointless bickering continues both disputants are liable to be temporarily blocked. ~ Kalki 16:48, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
You really should block both. --Johney 16:50, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Johney. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Johney~enwikiquote that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
