Welcome[edit]

Hello, Johns432, and welcome to the English Wikiquote, a free compendium of quotations written collaboratively by people just like you!

To ask for advice or assistance feel free to drop by the Village Pump or ask on my talk page. Happy editing! And again, welcome!

You are quite welcome to add quotes you believe favorable to Rush Limbaugh to Wikiquote, and I welcome this, if provided in standard chronological order. You are NOT welcome to violate standard formatting to create a section for quotes you believe unfavorable to him and label it "quotes provided by liberals." ~ Kalki 16:08, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As I stated, you are quite welcome to add material you believe to be favorable to Limbaugh, but for the most part this should be short quotations of a few sentences, or at most a paragraph or two of larger statements. I trimmed your recent additions somewhat, to a few of the paragraphs where Limbaugh appears to be making his major points, but this is not the place for extensive transcripts of copyrighted works. Please refrain from doing this. I retained the links to the full transcripts, despite the fact that they are "members only" links of limited use to most people, and restored proper chronological arrangement of the quotes and sections. Standard practice here is to place sourced quotes chronologically and then sections for quotes from specific work in similarly chronological sequences, followed by any unsourced quotes that may be widely attributed to a person in alphabetical order, and then quotes about them arranged alphabetically by author. ~ Kalki 18:24, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
