Hi, welcome to English Wikiquote.

Enjoy!

A bit late for the welcome, perhaps, but I saw your talk page was a redlink and wanted to fix that. :) EVula // talk // // 06:52, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Good work on Apocalypse Now

I was hoping to find a good image of a water buffalo, but the one you found works splendidly. I used to see the creatures on a daily basis when I lived for several years in the Campania region of Italy. I think the image of a ferocious snarling tiger works better than the one you originally added. I was pleased at the progress swiftly made on the page, as I obvously believe that well selected images make pages much more visually and intellectually interesting. ~ Kalki (talk · contributions) 02:01, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit] The Ten Commandments

Just so you know - the reason I removed the "So let it be written, so let it be done" quote from the Ramses II section was not because I did not think it was valid. It obviously is. It's just that one of its occurrences is already shown in the dialogue section. I did not feel that the redundancy was necessary. ~ UDScott 19:29, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Eric Roll

Hi. I've thought you could be interested in the comment I've left here. Thank you. --Ginosal 14:52, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Jesse Lauriston Livermore

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the Jesse Lauriston Livermore article that you contributed to last year. Please feel free to remove the tag if you are interested in rescuing the article. Regards, ~ Ningauble 20:00, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Disputes on images, and thanks

As another person who I know to have exhibited a fondness for using meaningful imagery of various kinds in presenting quotes, I am asking you to consider registering an honest opinion on matters under current consideration at "Liberal use of images", if you receive this notice in time to be effective in regard to current problems. I know your presence is sporadic here, and accept that you might not receive this message any time soon. In the eight years of my work here I have encountered only a relatively few people intensely hostile to the use of images generally, and only a very few who seem extremely hostile to my particular uses of them. I do not wish you to get involved in current disputes in any way which you might find uncomfortable, and if you have no interest in stating your opinions for any reasons, I can accept that. As a devout Absurdist with a great respect for many other forms of philosophical perspectives, I thank your for all the diligence you have exhibited in creating pages for presentation of diverse opinions on economic, political and other social matters. ~ Kalki·· 13:29, 1 February 2012 (UTC) + tweaks

I really don't know if there is anything I could add on the "Liberal Use of Images" page Kalki! I always thought that the choice of images were in good taste and appropriate. I suspect that the problem is that someone didn't "get it". --Oracleofottawa 01:41, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
