Be cooperative, or you may not stay here

Hello, currently we are afraid you are not interested in collaboration to build up a free collection of quotations, but only would like to use your edit page for other purposes.

I would recommend you some changes to your user page, including:

• remove "usermessage" feature - do not pretend if there is a MediaWiki generated message.
• remove any offensive content, including hostile toward any Wikimedia project.

I want to join wikimedia but dont know what to say! If it isnt a problem can anybody look and see If this is a nice request:

• Reason: Why am i wasteing your time asking for approval? Is it for the reason of olny showing off my skill or is it because I finally get the chance to make a difference in this godforsaken hellhole? Its all about the skill trust me! anyway I want to join because the very fact im helping improve a VERY great site is enough to dedicate 75% of my Virtual life to help make wiki better and end all the trash and crap wandering the halls of Wikipedia! Slecting me is smart idea! I can show ya that I can play a VERY major role in the future of wiki! I have done Extensive work on several wiki projects! Wikiquote is not an encyclopedia

Wikiquote is not an encyclopedia: it is a compendium of quotations. Hence, articles without quotation, such as mere biographies, will be deleted. Please add your favorite quotes to the article you submitted. Thank you for your consideration.--Aphaia 18:07, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

To Catch a Predator

I deleted this page twice because it was from a spoof taken from YouTube and thus does not meet the notability standards of Wikiquote. Although the actual Dateline show is notable enough, this spoof of it is not. Feel free to post this on your userpage, but it does not really belong on its own page. Your account will be renamed

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Saikano~enwikiquote that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
