Asking socks to self-disclose[edit]

Billinghurst has asked DIFF that the third-party who is a Confirmed sock connected to accounts Jimmy11234 (talk · contributions) and Gene96 (talk · contributions) to self-disclose their involvement in the socking.

You are one of the accounts that voted before 12:09, 25 January 2015.

I ask that if you are behind the socking of Confirmed socks Jimmy11234 (talk · contributions) and Gene96 (talk · contributions) to self-disclose please at Wikiquote:Requests_for_adminship/Kalki_(4th_request)#Asking_socks_to_self-disclose.

Thank you,

Thanks. It was certainly not me that supported this editor, so I presume I do not have to comment on the page? - SchroCat (talk) 08:35, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Revert warring and incivility[edit]

SchroCat, you are new to Wikiquote. However, you are a highly experienced Wikipedian. You suggested on my talk page that I check your history. I have. That brought my attention to events here on Wikiquote.

You revert warred on Ian Fleming, History. You did not attempt to discuss this on the Talk page.

Many of your edit summaries were uncivil.

Had you done this on en.wiki, your home wiki, you know what would have happened. Wikiquote may be more tolerant, but that was beyond the pale.

Yes, you were revert warring with an IP, since blocked for "vandalism" (which wasn't accurate), but not only with the IP. There was no emergency.

Please do not repeat either of these behaviors. If you need assistance, get help. You know your way around a wiki, you know how to do it, or you can always ask me. I am not an administrator here, I simply know one or two. Good luck. --Abd (talk) 02:43, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
