Welcome to Wikiquote, and thanks for the contribution of quotations in Platoon.
I am aware that a few images on a page can enhance its appeal, but am currently promoting a policy of avoiding them in the quotation articles, at least until a clear means to Wikimedia-wide access is established, so that redundancy and use of server storage space is minimized among the many Wikimedia projects. I won't delete the images you uploaded, but I intend to remove the links to them in the article, so as to not promote the use of images at this point. I am aware there are a few other articles I have neglected editing in this manner, and I might edit some of them this weekend. You are welcome to have a few images on your User pages, but an indication that the ones you uploaded are copyrighted images (as these apparently are), and are used under fair use provisions should be made. I hope you find Wikiquote an interesting site. ~ Kalki 22:07, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Please note that your four Platoon images are currently being voted on for deletion. You might want to record a vote and/or comment there. There is a movement to delete images with no license information, especially as they are not essential to quote articles that have corresponding Wikipedia pages. I would suggest that you upload these images to Wikimedia Commons (if they or similar images aren't already there) with an appropriate "fair use" description in each, to make them properly available to many wiki projects. I'm no expert on Commons or licensing, but I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have about this. — Jeff Q (talk) 22:52, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I did a little research on Commons and found that they do not accept fair-use images, so my suggestion won't work. I believe that Kalki's statement above was related to uploading images on Commons, so in all likelihood, this will never happen for fair-use images. I highly recommend, if you wish to keep these images, that you post a vote and comment in the VfD entry. — Jeff Q (talk) 23:08, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
