Neurotically Yours[edit]

I wanted to thank you for adding quotes to Neurotically Yours, but I also wanted to point out that the weight of opinion is still not favoring a "keep" consensus. I suspect that my final position will be a swing factor (which I'm not happy about, as my opinions already tend to carry too much weight in this relatively small community). My current feeling is that the article, without especially memorable quotes and witn no proper sources, will remain a sub-standard quote article indefinitely, so I plan to change my vote back to "delete", which will probably result in a "delete" decision. If you could provide some sources as I requested at WQ:VFD#Neurotically Yours (see the Comment under your vote), I will probably change this to "keep", which will probably make this a "no-consensus" decision, effectively preserving the article.

I realize this gives you very little time to respond, but I'm afraid I've been too busy on other projects and articles to give this more attention. I will make this commitment to you: if the article is deleted, I can create for you a user subpage with the existing material, on which you can further develop the article until it is properly sourced, then we can recreate the article in a month or two and ask the community for a second review, if necessary. (I might also initiate a deletion nomination (AfD) on Wikipedia to see if this subject's notability can be established more thoroughly. Wikiquotians tend to be more likely to support keeping articles whose WP articles have passed an AfD. The potential downside, of course, is that WP editors may reject the WP article, but the Google count and Ill Will Press's 24K Alexa rating will probably drum up support from many editors not familiar with NY.) ~ Jeff Q (talk) 07:42, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've extended the deadline for the deletion nomination by 1 week, to 9 August 2006, 14:00 (UTC), to give you more time to add sources and to allow further consideration by the community. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 15:22, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
