Lord Randolph Churchill

Lord Randolph Churchill (1849–1894) was a British Conservative politician. He was known for his opposition to the Liberals, especially William Gladstone. He was behind the "Fourth Party" and the Tory Democracy. He married the American socialite Jennie Jerome, who became a mistress to Edward VII. Together, Lord and Lady Randolph were the parents of Winston Churchill, the British wartime leader and Prime Minister.
