Eyes of Wakanda
Eyes of Wakanda is an American animated anthology television miniseries created by Todd Harris for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics country Wakanda. It is the 15th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from Marvel Studios and is produced by Marvel Studios Animation with Proximity Media, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. It follows the Hatut Zaraze, Wakandan warriors who carry out dangerous missions throughout history. Harris served as showrunner and director.
The series stars Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Zeke Alton, and Steve Toussaint. In February 2021, an overall deal between Disney and Ryan Coogler's Proximity Media was announced. An animated series about Wakanda was in development by March 2023, and was officially announced as Eyes of Wakanda that December. Harris's involvement was revealed in March 2024. Unlike Marvel Animation's other series to that point, Eyes of Wakanda is set in the MCU's "Sacred Timeline" and has greater connections with the franchise's films. Animation for the series is provided by Axis Animation in a hand-painted style inspired by contemporary African-American artists such as Ernie Barnes, as well as illustrator Dean Cornwell.
Eyes of Wakanda premiered on Disney+ on August 1, 2025, with all four episodes released simultaneously. It is the first series of Phase Six of the MCU.

"Legends and Lies"

- B'kai/Memnon: No, brother. For Wakanda.
(Achilles is next to a fire, throwing rocks at the amber)
- B'kai/Memnon: Did the fire do something to offend you, Achilles?
- Achilles: Don't, Memnon. I'm in no mood.
- B'kai/Memnon: It has been a difficult day. But you can always speak your mind with me.
- Achilles: All this death. And mud. How many good men have I recruited to fight for justice? Only to lead them to their end.
- B'kai/Memnon: Achilles, we joined you because you showed us there are some causes worth dying for.
- Achilles: This is no cause. This was supposed to be a legend, Memnon, to inspire generations to come. Instead, it's just a story of Greek bodies, piled higher now than that accursed wall.
- B'kai/Memnon: Legends are lies, my friend. Tales told by those who never did to those who never will. What we do here is not done for their benefit. We fight for home.
- Achilles: [chuckles] I have never met a warrior more devoted to a home he was not born to.
- B'kai/Memnon: When I joined your cause, I was a wanderer. But you, Achilles, have made me feel like one of your own.
- Achilles: [laughs] Flattery! Is that how you plan to turn the tide of war?
- B'kai/Memnon: Odysseus himself could not conjure a better strategy!
[both laugh]
- Achilles: Sometimes it feels as though this war will outlast us all. Thank you for being here.
(Memnon is seeing the Greek soldiers building the Trojan Horse)
- B'kai/Memnon: I take back what I said about Odysseus. The man is a lunatic.
- Achilles: [chuckling] Genius, madman... One way or another, this will end the war.
"Lost and Found"

- Jorani: And now, so am I.

"The Last Panther"

- Tafari: And what of your duty to Wakanda, hmm?
- Kuda: I can do little to honor either if I kill myself chasing foolish glory.
