Legend has it that Psyche, a mortal girl, was so beautiful that Venus, the goddess of love, was really envious and jealous. So Venus sent her son, Cupid, to make Psyche fall in love with a vile creature. By mistake, Cupid ends up scratching his arrow on himself and falling profoundly in love with Psyche :D |
