Summary

Description
English: Digital drawing of Philadelphia poet Florence Earle Coates' headstone alongside her husband, Edward H. Coates' headstone. They are buried at the Church of the Redeemer Churchyard (Episcopal) in Bryn Mawr, PA. The inscription on Mrs. Coates' headstone is taken from a memorial poem she wrote for Eliza Sproat Turner (who died ca. 1903) entitled "In Memory". Florence's husband's inscription is based on Sir Philip Sydney's description of an honorable man and gentleman.
