Iris Marie Mack , (May 17,1956 - September 27, 2022)She was an African American, that grew up in New Orleans in a family of 10 all "competitive in a fun way." she was a writer, speaker, and a mathematician. She was known for her work in Applied Mathematics and for helping both kids and students learn Mathematics.
She received dual bachelor's degrees in mathematics and mathematical physics and then earned the master's degree in mathematics at the University of California as a research fellow for Bell Laboratories. She earn a doctorate in Applied Mathematics From Harvard University.
She was Lecture on Energy Trading and Risk Management for Fitch Learning Certificate in Quantitative Finance Program on Wall Street and at Tulane University
