Jurassic World Rebirth is a 2025 American science fiction film directed by Gareth Edwards. Set 5 years after the events of Dominion, an expedition braves isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough.

• I can guarantee your safety. I mean, more or less.
• We're best at moving things and people in and out of places they shouldn't be.
• This island was the research facility for the original Jurassic Park.
• None of what you just said is good.
• [Brings Dr. Henry Loomis to boat bow] Let me show you something. You feel that spray? [Henry confirms] Now imagine the boat rocking at 15 to 20 degrees, we're moving at 30 knots. You got sweat running in your eyes, and you're close enough to look that thing right in the teeth. You got this.
• We are very pathetic. What do you say we stay alive and get rich this time?

Duncan Kincaid

• We go up to Barbados, avoid government patrol, but there aren't that many anymore.
• No one's dumb enough to go where we're going.
• Bobby Atwater. He'll be helping with team security. [Martin inquires of "security", and Duncan points to a megalodon shark's skeleton jaw] Make sure you don't end up in one of these. A live one.

Dr. Henry Loomis

• I suppose we could try and get it from the parent, but they're a flying carnivore the size of an F-16.
• If we get this DNA, millions of lives are saved.
• We put ourselves in a place we don't belong. Survival is a long shot.
• They're helping the Mosasaur. Defend territory, stalk, hunt.
• We don't rule the Earth. We just think we do. And sure, we're changing the environment, but that makes us the ones to worry about, not the planet. When the Earth gets tired of us, believe me, it will shake us off like a summer cold.
• Dinosaurs are pretty dumb, right? And yet they survived for 167 million years. And we, almost 8 million geniuses, by comparison, only have about 200,000 years so far. But with our huge cranial cavities, they're so smart, we already have the capacity to annihilate ourselves. I doubt we make it to even 1 million.
• What would I do with mutant dinosaurs from an accounting perspective? Is that really the question?
• Science is for all of us, not some of us. Have you thought about that?
• Spinosaurus. It's mutualism! Interspecies symbiosis! Those Spinosaurus! They help the Mosasaurus hunt! They help it kill!

Xavier Dobbs

• [Admiring view of natural setting from a grotto] So, like, when an old person buys a bed, do you think before they buy it they look at it and they go, oh, wow, man, this is... this is my deathbed. Because I'm thinking that. Right now.

Radio newscaster Hailey

• Uh, the cause of the jam is none other than Bronto Billy, thought to be the last surviving sauropod in North America. Back to you, Bob.

Radio newscaster Bob

• Thanks, Hailey. So, yeah, the aging brachiosaur, known to be in poor health, broke out of the Cobble Hill Park enclosure where it had been living while receiving medical attention.

Dialogue

Martin Krebs: [Gets into vehicle referring to Bronto Billy, a dying sauropod backing up traffic] Oh, for god's sake. Rest in peace already, but get the hell out of the way.

Zora Bennett: Damn, that's cold.

Martin Krebs: [Turns around startled to realize Zora has snuck in his vehicle and is seated] Geez.

Zora Bennett: I mean, even for New York, it's pretty cold.

Martin Krebs: Miss Bennett, I presume?

Zora Bennett: Hello.

Martin Krebs: [Starts driving] Weren't we supposed to meet at the...

Zora Bennett: You're not exactly hard to follow. So, how did you hear about me?

Martin Krebs: Paolo Pasolini, Blackwater.

Zora Bennett: Mm-hmm. Does he have a message for me?

Martin Krebs: Yes, he said to say; "Felix isn't himself today".

Zora Bennett: Um. Okay, I'm listening.

Martin Krebs: Is that some spy stuff? Cause that is fantastic.

Zora Bennett: What is it that you do at ParkerGenix?

Martin Krebs: My company is developing a new medication and we have certain needs.

Zora Bennett: Uh-uh, that sounds vague. And what does that mean in this case?

Martin Krebs: They say you're good at procuring things and not asking a lot of questions.

Zora Bennett: Do they?

Martin Krebs: They also say you're untroubled by possible legal or ethical implications.

Zora Bennett: Well, they need to shut up.

Martin Krebs: Well, take it as a compliment. It means you get the job done.

Zora Bennett: I lost a friend on my last job, so I am not up for procuring.

Martin Krebs: Well, you don't know what it is yet.

Zora Bennett: Yes, but you work for a pharmaceutical company, right? So you called me. I'm Spec Ops, so it's covert. I'm guessing info theft? I'm sorry, I do retrieval and extractions, not heists.

Martin Krebs: It's dinosaurs. They may be through with us, but we're not through with them.

Zora Bennett: Well, they're all dead or dying, so...

Martin Krebs: Except for on a few islands around the equator.

Zora Bennett: Yes, and those are nuclear zones, for a reason. You go there, you die.

Martin Krebs: Which is where you come in.

Zora Bennett: No, thanks. [Leaves vehicle]

Martin Krebs: [Following Zora walking to Brooklyn Bridge Park] Miss Bennett, you know that 20% of the world's population will die of heart disease? That's one in every five people on the planet. Now, just imagine, take somebody you know, anybody. Imagine that you could be the one to give them an extra 20 years of life.

Zora Bennett: That's very touching. It's not my field.

Martin Krebs: And we have very deep pockets. [Walks to and leans on railing]

Zora Bennett: How deep?

Martin Krebs: For you, extremely.

Zora Bennett: Well, I'm gonna need a number.

Martin Krebs: Ten? Six zeros?

Zora Bennett: Including the one that's in the ten?

Martin Krebs: No. It's a fortune, Miss Bennett. The kind of money that would mean you'd never have to put your life on the line ever again.

Zora Bennett: Alright, what's the hitch?

Martin Krebs: Uh, possible criminal charges. We are going to a place where every government on the planet has outlawed travel.

Zora Bennett: Well, we better not tell anyone, then.

Martin Krebs: Yeah, that might be a problem.

Martin Krebs: [Approaches Henry in museum displays being packed up] Good morning, Doctor. Sorry to drop in unannounced. Can we have a word?

Dr. Henry Loomis: Sorry, it's a hell of a day here. They're closing us down.

Martin Krebs: Dr. Henry Loomis, Zora Bennett, our mission specialist.

Zora Bennett: [Shakes his hand] Hello.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Sorry, what mission?

Martin Krebs: [To museum staff] Uh, guys, why don't you just take a break for a minute, okay? Thanks, guys. [To Zora] Dr. Loomis has been advising Parke Janitz over the past six months on paleo-coronary health... for developing a new drug, paleo-dioxin, derived from the largest dinosaur species on record. [Henry walks in between them and Martin and Zora follows Henry Computer modeling suggests it could forestall coronary disease by an average of two decades. Think what that might have meant for your mother. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Zora Bennett: Anybody can read a file. If you get personal now, I'm out.

Martin Krebs: I'm sorry for overstepping. This, uh, research is crucial. We just can't get it to trial. We're unable to synthesize the DNA, so we need samples from living dinosaurs.

Dr. Henry Loomis: The species must be a true colossus. It's the biggest animals across three categories; seagoing, land-based, and avian.

Zora Bennett: Why the biggest?

Dr. Henry Loomis: Oh, it's their hearts. The bigger they were, the bigger their coronary muscles. And they live the longest. Over a hundred years for some Cretaceous-era sauropods. Which means the three dinosaurs they need are... [gestures at display] Mosasaurus. Which lives in the ocean. And... [gestures at display] Titanosaurus. You'll find them on land... ...and in the sky. [gestures at display] Quetzalcoatlus. It's the largest pterosaur. Each of them had an average lifespan of well over a century before DNA refinement.

Martin Krebs: A drug that could prevent heart disease would be the biggest medical breakthrough in centuries.

Zora Bennett: Yeah. It would sure be worth billions, right?

Martin Krebs: Trillions.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Hmm. [Walks away]

Martin Krebs: The only way for our scientists to complete the strands now is with blood and tissue samples from living dinosaurs.

Zora Bennett: Wait. You want to take blood samples from these animals while they're alive?

Dr. Henry Loomis: [Carrying crate] Hemoglobin deoxygenates within seconds postmortem. Levitidae and hypostasis follow immediately.

Martin Krebs: Fortunately for us, all these species exist in one isolated location. We're putting together a team and we'd like to leave immediately. We have competitors and Mr. Parker does not tolerate second place. Can you be ready tomorrow? Dr. Loomis?

Dr. Henry Loomis: I thought it was just advising.

Martin Krebs: You are. In person. We're not qualified to identify the animals or predict behavior.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Well, why don't you send an army? You're a rich company.

Martin Krebs: Confidentiality. The fewer people know about this, the better.

Zora Bennett: I can guarantee your safety. I mean, more or less.

Dr. Henry Loomis: No, no, no. It's not about my safety. It's just... "more or less?"

Zora Bennett: Yeah.

Dr. Henry Loomis: [Looks over shoulder and leans into Martin and Zora whispering] What you're proposing is really illegal.

Zora Bennett: Oh, did we- did you tell him about the zeros?

Martin Krebs: That's not gonna work with him.

Dr. Henry Loomis: What are you talking about? [Walks away]

Martin Krebs: You ever seen a dinosaur in the wild? [Henry stops walking] I don't mean in a theme park when you're a kid or watching some poor creature wander around town lost. I mean, in it's natural habitat. Cause, until you've done that, you're just a guy who visits zoos.

Dr. Henry Loomis: [Walks over and sits on bench] We sold a dozen tickets all last week. Five years ago, you'd have to wait in line for hours if you could even get in. Nobody cares about these animals anymore. They deserve better. I just- I need a second.

Zora Bennett: No, yeah. Take all the time that you need. [She and Martin sit on bench] Take all the minutes. Not like... your entire life, you know, has been leading up to this moment. [Pause] You ready?

Dr. Henry Loomis: Yeah.

Martin Krebs: [Meeting Duncan at the Van Dijks bar in Paramaribo, Suriname] Martin Krebs. We spoke on the phone?

Duncan Kincaid: Yeah, Krebs, look, I'm sorry. I thought it over and I can't do it. I'd like to, just as a favor to Zora, but I can't.

Martin Krebs: What? [Sits at table] We already agreed on the phone. You named your price.

Duncan Kincaid: It's not that, it's just- it's a little too risky for my boat. She's not paid off yet, so I imagine you you understand. No hard feelings, Z.

Martin Krebs: What the hell is this? He's your guy?

Zora Bennett: Yeah. We spent ten years in MARSOC together. Well, Duncan's the best, otherwise he wouldn't be here.

Martin Krebs: Best of what? Drinking?

Zora Bennett: Moving things. And people in and out of places they shouldn't be.

Duncan Kincaid: Trouble is I really can't do it this time, Z. I'm sorry. And I'm afraid that's final.

Zora Bennett: That's a hell of a setback, Duncan. You promised me. Oh, we're screwed now. I'm sorry. [Walks to bar to get two bottles] I hate to see this all fall apart on you. I'll tell you what. [Walks back to table] Why don't you make some sort of good-faith gesture? Like, maybe, you know, just spitballing here, but maybe you could double the number that you and I spoke about and then I can take care of Duncan and his crew on my end.

Martin Krebs: Oh, I see. [Chuckles] That's very nice. You guys cook this up on the phone or just now?

Zora Bennett: We're just trying to help you out.

Duncan Kincaid: I don't have to sit here and be insulted. [Gets up and walks away]

Martin Krebs: For God's sakes, fine. Agreed.

Zora Bennett: Great.

Duncan Kincaid: Great. [Spreads map on table and points to it] We'll loop up to our Barbados. To avoid government controls, but there aren't many anyway.

Martin Krebs: Why's that?

Duncan Kincaid: [Chuckles] No one's dumb enough to go where we're going.

Bobby Atwater: Is this the part where you tell me it's a crime to kill a dinosaur, Doctor?

Dr. Henry Loomis: No, this is where I tell you it's a sin to kill a dinosaur.

Bobby Atwater: And so, what if it's us all day?

Dr. Henry Loomis: Then we put ourselves in a place where we don't belong.

Zora Bennett: That's kind of our specialty, Dr. Loomis.

Duncan Kincaid: [Walks into boat cabin chuckling] I can't take it. I mean, it's been fun working with you, Z.

Zora Bennett: What?

Duncan Kincaid: But I think we just found our new team leader. No offense.

Zora Bennett: I mean, I don't know anybody that could be offended by that. That's mean.

Reuben Delgado: [While sailing] You guys ever wish you had a boring dad?

Isabella Delgado: We do.

Reuben Delgado: [Xavier appears] Finally. Good evening, Xavier.

Xavier Dobbs: What's up?

Reuben Delgado: Six o'clock.

Xavier Dobbs: I know. I was out cold.

Reuben Delgado: It's your watch.

Xavier Dobbs: I-I slept like a baby.

Reuben Delgado: You've- you've got the wheel?

Xavier Dobbs: I am so tired. I'm going to be honest. I'd probably conk out at the wheel.

Teresa Delgado: I'll take his shift.

Reuben Delgado: It's fine. No, no, no, honey. We've been through this. You need sleep. I need sleep. It's your shift, Xavier.

Xavier Dobbs: Come on, man. Reuben, can we just anchor for once? You can use the anchor.

Xavier Dobbs: We haven't done that yet.

Reuben Delgado: We only carry 50 meters of anchored chain. It's 2,000 meters to the bottom.

Xavier Dobbs: Kind of sounds like something you should have thought about that before we left.

Reuben Delgado: Do you have any idea the weight of the... I built this boat, okay, Xavier? I-I know what I'm doing.

Xavier Dobbs: Oh, so you're good? You're good on the wheel?

Reuben Delgado: You know what? Just grab another hour. I'm- I'm fine.

Xavier Dobbs: Yes.

Reuben Delgado: I-I got it.

Xavier Dobbs: Perfect.

Reuben Delgado: I'm fine.

Xavier Dobbs: You're the best. [Holds out fist to Reuben] Fist bump. Give me some... [Reuben ignores fist bump] Never mind. Whoa. [To Isabella] Oh, you got liquorice, dude? I love this stuff. [Goes below]

Reuben Delgado: I didn't say a word. Not- not one word.

Teresa Delgado: Good. So don't.

Reuben Delgado: What? Did- did he even bring a shirt?

Teresa Delgado: Okay. Clearly, you don't see the side of him that I see.

Isabella Delgado: The naked side.

Teresa Delgado: Hey!

Reuben Delgado: I mean, I... I guess I'd hope it would just be the three of us. You know, one last hurrah.

Teresa Delgado: I'm going to NYU, not Mongolia.

Reuben Delgado: I know. You're right.

Dr. Henry Loomis: I can't sleep.

Zora Bennett: Well, they say if you can sleep the night before, you should probably quit.

Dr. Henry Loomis: You don't hear that much in museum work.

Dr. Henry Loomis: [To Zora storing a blood sample in a cooler case] Hey. What if we don't?

Zora Bennett: What if we don't what?

Dr. Henry Loomis: Well, what if we get the samples and we don't give them over to a company that makes a life-saving drug and then prices it to 99% if the planet can't afford it? Science is for all of us, not some of us. Have you thought about that?

Zora Bennett: I guess I haven't.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Well, then maybe you should start.

Zora Bennett: Well, then, maybe you should stop.

Martin Krebs: They're more like mutations.

Zora Bennett: What do you mean, mutations?

Martin Krebs: Abnormalities, deviations.

Zora Bennett: I know what the word means. What does it mean here where we are?

Duncan Kincaid: What are you talking about?

Zora Bennett: This island that we're on, Mr. Work here didn't tell us everything that we need to know.

Martin Krebs: Look, dinosaurs are dinosaurs. What difference does it make?

Zora Bennett: Okay, fine. Don't tell us. We can just leave it here.

Martin Krebs: It's fine.

Zora Bennett: Fine.

Martin Krebs: So this island was a laboratory of sorts. They conducted experimental work here.

Dr. Henry Loomis: What kind of experiments?

Martin Krebs: Cross-breeding of species. The theme park owners were just responding to what the audience wanted. They were tired of looking at the same old thing. "Engineered entertainments", they call them.

Zora Bennett: Genetically altered freaks?

Martin Krebs: Yeah. You don't want to do that in the middle of a theme park, do you?

Duncan Kincaid: Ideally, you don't try weird genetic shit at all.

Martin Krebs: Well, they learned that the hard way. Any that were malformed or just too damn hard for anybody to look at, they left them here.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Well, that's inhuman. Why not just euthanize them?

Martin Krebs: The average cost of a created species is 72 million dollars. What would you do? Kill it and have to tell your bank or just carry it forward on R&D?

Dr. Henry Loomis: What would I do with mutant dinosaurs from an accounting perspective? Is that really the question? [A dinosaur roars] Can we please just hurry this along?

Zora Bennett: Everybody, please stay cool. Our situation hasn't changed.

Duncan Kincaid: Two of our friends just died. Clearly the situation's changed quite a bit.

Zora Bennett: Yes. And that's horrible. But this is where we are now. Desperate and that's not any different than before. We were all desperate to begin with otherwise we wouldn't have come. Right? You specialize in a subject nobody cares about and you're about to be out of a job. You need this. I want the money. You want the money. Your company wants all the money. We still have that case. First sample's in it. Let's get the other two.

Martin Krebs: That's a great idea. We have no weapons, Z.

Zora Bennett: [Starts cutting wire of fence] We never did. I mean, not really. We had a few toys that would have made us feel better. They could have worked or not. Or where we're supposed to be. We know what we're supposed to do. Let's get what we need and get out.

Duncan Kincaid: Those kids, the people who went to the ocean they could still be alive. I say we find them first and then we get out.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Uh, get out, how?

Zora Bennett: Does anyone want to hear the backup plan?

Martin Krebs: She has a backup plan?

Duncan Kincaid: She doesn't get out of bed but we got a backup plan.

[Expedition crew are wading in a creek]

Zora Bennett: Hey, you want to tell me how the, uh, girl fell over the rail?

Martin Krebs: The thing hit the boat. You were there.

Zora Bennett: So when you, on the bridge, next to her said it was... so there was nothing you could do.

Martin Krebs: What are you implying?

Duncan Kincaid: This isn't your first expedition, huh?

Dr. Henry Loomis: No, I've been on digs since I was 12. I studied under Alan Grant as a postdoc. I suppose you're in this kind of situation all the time.

Duncan Kincaid: I used to be. I hate the jungle. I try to avoid it now.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Why is that?

Duncan Kincaid: You can't see three feet in front of you, and you always know you're being stalked. The only place to hide is under water. I refuse to die in the jungle.

Dr. Henry Loomis: My dream is I die in a shallow sea and I'm buried quickly by silt.

Duncan Kincaid: That's beautiful.

Dr. Henry Loomis: It's the best chance of being fossilized that way.

Duncan Kincaid: You're a weirdo.

Dr. Henry Loomis: Thank you.
