Letitia Dzirasa

Letitia Dzirasa (born c. 1981) is an American pediatrician who was the interim deputy mayor of Baltimore for equity, health, and human services from 2023 to 2024. She served as the commissioner of the Baltimore City Health Department from 2019 to 2023. On March 11, 2019, Dzirasa was appointed by mayor Catherine Pugh as commissioner of the Baltimore City Health Department, succeeding interim commissioner Mary Beth Haller. She is the first African-American woman to hold the position.
