Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir (born 26 January 1948) is a Bangladeshi politician and former state minister. He is currently serving as the Secretary General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). In the 2001 eighth national parliamentary election, he was elected a Member of Parliament from Thakurgaon-1 as a BNP nominee. He first served as the State Minister for the Ministry of Agriculture and later as the State Minister for the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
