The Oval Office is the official office of the President of the United States. Located in the West Wing of the White House, the oval-shaped office features three large south-facing windows behind the president's desk and a fireplace at the north end of the room.

  • "I always jest to people, the Oval Office is the kind of place where people can stand outside, they're getting ready to come in and tell me what for, and they walk in and get overwhelmed by the atmosphere. And they say, 'Man, you're looking pretty.'" — George W. Bush
Washington, D.C., November 4, 2004
