Dialogue
[edit]- Ranger: [through loudspeakers] Now hear this! Now hear this! The hunting area has been clearly marked, the white indicating the boundary. Remember: hunters must stay on their OWN side of the line! All BEARS will stay on the OTHER side... heh-heh-heh...... unless they wanna be SHOT.
- Bear: [to the other bears; worried] Shot? Which side IS ours? Which side? Which side? [gets shot at by Daffy] Oops! Not this side!
- [last lines; Daffy is putting his feathers back on]
- Daffy Duck: 511, 512... Hey, where's the rest of my feathers?
- Bear: Yoo-hoo! [the bear was now wearing a headdress with Daffy’s feathers] Yoo-hoo! Roses are red, violets are blue, your feathers are black and mine are too!
- [Daffy having donned a barrel to cover his naked behind, tries to shoot the bear, only for the ranger to take the gun and place a sign that says Hunting Season closed.]
- Ranger: Uh uh uh uh! Not until next year, Mac. Now, move on outta here!
- Daffy Duck: You're despicable, but you haven't seen the last of me!
- [As Daffy storms off, two boards came loose on the barrel and fall, revealing his plucked behind, as the cartoon ends.]
