They don't like it up 'em[edit]

Jones used a phrase much like this regularly, I can't remember the exact phrasing though. Anyone? 194.80.32.8 05:37, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unidentified Episodes[edit]

Jones: There's a war on, Dad. Jones' Dad: Oh, I wondered what the noise was. - This quote is from the first series. I'm pretty sure it's the first or second eposode. 194.80.32.8 05:44, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Who Do You Think Lyrics[edit]

Surely, Mr Brown went off to town on the 0821 (presumably a commuter train) rather than the A21 road.

I've always heard it as "eight twenty-one" and as Warmington on Sea was supposed to be on the south coast the A21 road wouldn't hae gone there.

I also have always heard it as "the 8:21", as have others here, here, and here.--A bit iffy (talk) 23:06, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I've now gone ahead and just changed it. "A21" doesn't make sense -- you'd go up or down a road, not "on", and anyway almost nobody commuted by car in 1940s England.--A bit iffy (talk) 18:25, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
