Occupation[edit]
Some anonymous user added "Secret agent" as Maugham's occupation. I know of no source for this. If someone does know, please add it back. . . . ---Michael K. Smith 17:35, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- I don't have any specific knowledge, but I am familiar with the claim that Maugham served as a spy during World War I. I've heard it offline at university, so it may very well be true.
