- Fawn: Nyx.
- Nyx: I've been looking everywhere for you. So, where have you been?
- Fawn: Off hiding a hippo?
- Nyx: Yep, he's bunking with the bobcat. Did you hear that roar this morning?
- Nyx: Can you describe the roar in question? What kind of roar was it?
- Fawn: The loud, hair-raising, monstrous kind.
- Nyx: Animals make all kinds of roars. I mean, you've got your growls, howls, whoops, hollers, shrieks, rumbles.
- Fawn': Was it like this?
- Nyx: No. A roar.
- Fawn: Sort of like...
- Nyx: No. No! No! Fawn! Yeah. If you hear that one, run.
- Fawn: Would you hand me that? Look, this thing might be a threat to Pixie Hollow.
- Nyx: If you find out what made that roar.
- Fawn: I need to know. Are we clear?
- Nyx: What will you do if you find it?
- Fawn: My Job.
- Nyx: And I'll do mine.
- Tinker Bell: [showing Gruff his new bed] Anyone who sleeps for a thousand years deserves a decent bed.
- Rosetta: And a fluffy pillow.
- [Gruff nuzzles the pillow]
- Rosetta: Make that a Gruffy pillow.
- Silvermist: [she and Iridessa show Gruff a glowing pool of water] A spring-filled water bowl that never runs dry.
- Iridessa: A night light so you never have to be scared.
- [Gruff drinks from the bowl. Vidia breezes by him]
- Vidia: A little fresh air to keep you cool.
- [Gruff then lays down on the pillow. Nyx flies up to him]
- Nyx: And the enduring respect of a grateful scout. [as she bows to him, he nuzzles her. While tearing up, she gives him a gentle kiss on the nose]
