"Brendan Patrick Driscoll was born on February 19, 1990. He is the son of Mary and Greg. His favorite tv show is Seinfeld and his favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had a chondrosarcoma in his nasal passage, when he was 14 years old. He had to go through two surguries, including one where he had his head cut open to get rid of the tumor. Brendan now has 3 titanium plates in his headand a scar going from one ear to the other. Then in April 2005 he went through radiation in Boston to eliminate all of the cancerious cells. Then he got connected with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and Brendan's wish was to meet the Steelers and go to a game. He got to meet the entire team and got a football signed by the team. He saw them play the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Steelers lost the game because of Tommy Maddox throwing an interception which was returned for a touchdown in overtime. On February 5, 2006 the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL. Brendan is a member of the Class of 2008 at Farmington High School."
