All proverbs be shite[edit]
I see you posted the following comment on Talk:All proverbs be shite:
- I have heard this - although it seems vulgar. It is used as a response to the inappropriate use of a proverb in the UK.
The problem is not whether this is a legitimate proverb. It's that the format is wrong. Wikiquote pages contain sets of proverbs from various sources and on various topics. This should go into an appropriate page, not be a page all by itself. I'm not sure where one would put a proverb about proverbs, but Anonymous is perhaps the best place to start. (This may also give it some exposure, so that someone may be able to identify its source.) — Jeff Q (talk) 10:30, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)
