An editor using this IP address recently added the following quote to Physics:

  • If it breathes, it's Biology; if it blows up, it's Chemistry; and if it does nothing at all, it's Physics.

(I've done some grammar, case, and link fixes to the original edit.) I removed this otherwise excellent quote because it is an unsourced quote from a person who is likely not well-known outside the school. If this person is better identified ("Dr Brown" is hardly sufficient identification for a global quote compendium, and I didn't find any staff info when I briefly checked out the Tiffin website) and evidence of his/her notability can be provided, it could make a case for restoring this quote. Better yet, if this quote has been published in a reliable source, that would help not only the quotee notability case but also provide a source for the quote, which is the ultimate aim for all quotes. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 02:12, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
