Henry D'Souza[edit]
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Henry D'Souza, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Ubiquity 01:28, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Not sure what you're trying to accomplish with the {{vfd}} tag here. Are you saying you would like to take this directly to a Vote for Deletion instead of trying to fix the article and removing the {{prod}} tag? If so, I'll be happy to oblige, but slipping a {{vfd}} tag into the article is not the way to do it. If you would like this to go for a vote, let me know, and I'll be glad to set that up for you. --Ubiquity 02:24, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
sure --Cadence 03:08, 13 February 2008 (UTC) i hope something sticks
Introductions[edit]
Please provide introductions for your pages. They are easy to copy from Wikipedia if the subject is already there. Pages with no introductions and no sourced quotes are very likely to be deleted. --01:55, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Junk Articles[edit]
Please learn how to properly source and format your quotes. It takes about 30 seconds to look someone up in Wikipedia and copy their intro. Without the intro, we don't know who these people are. If they're not important enough to you to explain why they're important, why should anyone else care?
Furthermore, you are getting all the quotes from some source. Why not list it, and give your quotes some credibility? Sources also provide context for quotes, and protect us from accusations of plagiarism.
It is unfair of you to toss a few words onto a page and expect someone else to do the rest of the work for you. Junk articles are forgivable if a new editor chooses to learn and work towards Wikiquote goals; repeated creation of junk articles is considered vandalism. Consider this your first second warning. --Ubiquity 02:14, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Cadence. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Cadence~enwikiquote that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
