Tristan silverman[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Tristan silverman, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Regarding your remark at Talk:Tristan silverman that "I am Tristan Silverman's manager, [...] her debut collection of poetry has not been released yet. [...] You had no grounds to select this for deletion other than assuming because if wasn't cited it was illegitimate> I suggest you do more research before you entitle yourself to some sort of judgment." —

Wikiquote exists for the collecting of notable quotations of famous people and famous works, not for the posting of quotations of people not yet famous in some field. For a quick overview of what Wikiquote is, read Wikiquote:Wikiquote, and also Wikiquote:What Wikiquote is not for a list of common activities that Wikiquote does not support. Wikiquote is not a vehicle for literary agents to advertise new writers. ~ Ningauble 17:52, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am her manager -- but I didn't originally post this. Someone else did. I just came here when they emailed me to say you had deleted it. Tristan is a published, award-winning author who tours nationally. What are your credentials for "famous". Please reinstate her quotes. I did not AGAIN originally publish them.
