Hi Erikka Brickey, I rearranged the Steve Blank lemma in the required format, and moved the improperly sources quotes to the talk page. You can moved them back with proper source data, such as article title or blog title, name of the magazine or blog, author or editor, date, etc. Mdd (talk) 15:17, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As fas as I know I didn't block User:Erikka Brickey, but I did block User:K&S Ranch and explained here.-- Mdd (talk) 16:59, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
) Thanks. I was feeling like I was a leper - and I'm really trying to figure out wikiquote rules.
Yes, I can be hard with all those regulations, sorry about that. -- Mdd (talk) 17:14, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I gave it another go :) It appears that the chronology is more recent last. I added commencement speech quotes - just a few favorites - and got the format from John McCain's page. If I have 2011 as a heading, would it make sense to make 2012 a heading and put The Startup Owner's Manual under it? Appreciate all your help!

First of all, even for the most experienced editor it is hard to get everything right. Yet, your edits were not that bad, maybe even about average, but we try to reach and maintain a higher standard. There is often more specific explanation in the edit summary, see here. -- Mdd (talk) 11:38, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adding quotes to major thematic lemmas[edit]

Hi Erikka Brickey, I have undone the addition of a quote to the success lemma, see here , because the quote is hardly considered notable and as far as I can see not (yet) mentioned in any more reliable sources such as books, scientific articles, and mayor magazines. -- Mdd (talk) 18:11, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adding non-notable quotes to minor thematic lemmas[edit]

Hi Erikka Brickey, adding series of non-notable quotes to minor thematic lemmas is not acceptable. This has been done a lot in the past two years but we are in the process of removing this kind of content. -- Mdd (talk) 18:58, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Appreciate that concept. Will investigate definition of non-notable quotes. BTW, I am not adding casually - I know what's getting play in entrepreneurial circles and in credible sources like Fortune, Forbes, NPR. Also only quotes that are particularly apropos to topic. I did get quotes to try to move page from stub to normal. As always, thx for your insights —This unsigned comment is by Erikka Brickey (talkcontribs) ., 01:58, April 6, 2017‎

Thanks, (your) specialised insights in particular fields are very much appreciated, yet we go were the most notable people and most reliable (or most cited) sources lead us. If you want to unstub a lemma, older notable quotes (which are acknowledged in notable secondary sources) can do. It is not Wikiquotes intention to put non-notable quotes in the spotlight. -- Mdd (talk) 10:25, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Totally agree that there's enough notable out there. Curious though ... Any idea how many quotes it takes to unstub? How do I sign these notes? —This unsigned comment is by Erikka Brickey (talkcontribs) .

About 7 to 10 quotes long (with or without subsections) and you can sign by typing four tildes ~~~~ . -- Mdd (talk) 15:36, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Erikka Brickey (talk) 15:45, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep in mind, quotes (in thematic lemmas) are normally arranged in alphabetical order, and we don't use quotation marks. -- Mdd (talk) 15:46, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My bad. Corrected Startup.
